Hello! I'm Sarah,

Sarah, Geneva.JPG

a leadership and life coach. I work with people to reach their personal and professional goals, and to thrive along the way.

As a leadership coach, I am passionate about helping people become the kind of leader they want to be because strong leaders create workplaces that serve both the mission and the people who work there.

As a life coach, I believe we can all find more satisfaction, courage, and ease in our lives, leading to higher levels of fulfillment and successhowever that is defined by you.

I bring empathy, humor, openness, and the skills I’ve acquired throughout my career to create a coaching experience that is energizing, motivating, and tailored for each person.

Expertise: Overcoming Burnout

I’ve worked with SO many people who are overwhelmed and have lost connection to what used to motivate them. This was my experience after 25 years of working in a series of giving-oriented careers, all of which were as challenging as they were rewarding but required significant sacrifice of non-work and personal interests. After my own experience working with coaches, I am no longer living with burnout and have reconnected to my sources of motivation. I care deeply about helping others who are overwhelmed to similarly rebalance and regain their joy and focus.

What I want for my clients

To create what they truly want for their lives, whether:

  • finding greater purpose, professionally and otherwis

  • living more aligned, joyful lives

  • reaching goals while experiencing greater contentment

  • letting go of limiting beliefs, thoughts, and habits

  • feeling more inspired and energized

  • knocking creativity and fun out of the park

  • finding more authenticity, courage, and ease

  • making a positive, lasting impact wherever they go

Should You Want the Full Bio...

Coaching is my third career. My first was in education–as an elementary school music and Spanish teacher in the Bronx and subsequently at a non-profit educational organization in Boston, helping manage and expand a national AmeriCorps Program.

My second career was a sharp pivot and return to a dream from high school—humanitarian assistance. My interest was rooted in a deeply personal place. My grandmother was the only one in her immediate family to escape Nazi Germany, and I’ve always had a desire to be part of the international mechanism for helping people land on their feet after disasters—whether natural or man-made. I worked with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for more than 12 years on multiple humanitarian assistance efforts, including participating in many international  disaster responses; leading interagency training efforts; and supporting USAID's administration of field offices throughout the world.

My third career as a professional coach also reaches back to high school, which I just rediscovered a few years back when I found a slip of paper on which I’d written “coaching” as one of my top career choices. I likely meant an athletics coach at the time, but the underlying interest is the same—I have always been most energized when supporting others in reaching their goals.

It takes courage to make any change, big or small, whether recalibrating priorities; overcoming burnout; saying no; approaching work differently; or reviving dreams that have sat dormant for decades. I see my job now as coaching people toward the life they truly want.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my pup, spending time with my family, making new recipes, and continuing to shed the “shoulds” and create the “coulds” in my own life.
